If you’ve lost your sense of humor, find it as soon as possible. Be on the lookout for messengers of magic. Refuse to sit still for negative thinking. Swing as high as you can on a swingset, by moonlight. Be an adventure.

Arizona Teacher Certificate- Elementary Education

Originally from Flagstaff Arizona, I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University.  I taught first grade in the Cherry Creek School District in Denver, Colorado, first and second grades in the Marana School District in Tucson, and kindergarten and fifth grades at Green Fields.  During my daughter's’ preschool years, I was an active parent volunteer and board member at Tucson Community School.  When my oldest daughter joined the Green Fields community, I began work in the kindergarten classroom, first as the art teacher, followed by two years as an assistant, joining the staff full time in 2014.  My volunteer roles at Green Fields have included being a member of the Board of Trustees as well as President of the Parents Association.  I am very passionate about education and enjoy learning about learning and teaching.  When I’m not creating in my classroom, I’m thinking about creating what’s next!  I also enjoy activities that involve creative expression, moving and being outdoors and reading.
