Natalie will share a synopsis of how and why she became a Kindergarten teacher and how her teaching style has evolved over the past 15 years.
 
Natalie considers 6 key elements when planning and teaching:
  • creating a classroom community
  • using a literacy-based curriculum
  • honoring Gardner's 8 intelligences
  • integrating learning across the curriculum
  • applying learning to real life
 
After the presentation everyone is invited to come to the Kindergarten classroom to see the Kindergarten world and enjoy refreshments.
