Events at Green Fields School
Our administration and Parent’s Association host a number of events throughout the school year from fundraisers to free community events. While planned for our community, most events are also open to the public. We encourage all interested families to attend one of our events to get a real feel for our community.
Dinner on the Green
Dinner on the Green is an annual, locally sourced farm-to-table dinner. The evening features live music, a silent auction, and libations. At the community table, food connects our past and our present as Green Field’s families, alumni, and faculty gather under twinkling lights.
Star Party and Food-Truck Roundup
At this community wide event participants observe the stars through a variety of telescopes and enjoy food from local Tucson food trucks.
Griffin Gallop Cross Country Challenge
The Gallop is an obstacle mud-run across our 22-acre campus open to the greater Tucson community. Furry family members can participate in the popular Dog-Jog and all runners re-fuel with a post-race breakfast.
The Pi-e Party is a celebration of a variety of pie experiences happening near March 14th (3/14). The community takes part in pie-eating contests, indulges in pizza and yummy slices of pie, participates in pie-in-the-face fun, and sees who can recite the numeral pi.
Art Pandemonium is a mix of art and luck! Use tickets to win art in this raffle style event and enjoy tasty drinks and hor d'oeuvres throughout the evening.
Big Screen on the Green
Our favorite fall event features a family friendly movie on a giant, Inflatable screen and plenty of green space to lay your blanket and eat popcorn with a friend.
Our traditions also include a number of community events such as the International Dinner & Art Show and Fall Festival. Our events are all listed in our Green Fields calendar as well as our Facebook page.
