I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain by my Indian parents. I consider myself very lucky to have been brought up in a multicultural environment. I studied Psychology and earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Webster University. I then went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Language, Reading and Culture from the University of Arizona. I can speak four languages; English, Spanish, Hindi and Sindhi! I found my passion in teaching  and believe every child can succeed with the proper guidance. I want to be the positive influence that guides children through their learning experience. One particular way I enjoy teaching is through learning about new technologies. I integrate them in my classroom and I believe this promotes a better teaching environment. In this day and age, visuals enhance the learning experience and make the lessons exciting. For instance, through videos we can travel to remote places and discover new things. It’s during those moments when I know for a fact that I have helped a student learn something new that I feel most proud of.
