Motivated by a desire to make a greater contribution to society, Ms. Merry began a second career in teaching after twenty years as a graphic designer. She loves to see the children grow towards their future selves and is proud to be a part of that. A highlight of first grade with Ms. Merry is the annual Southern Arizona Regional Science Fair (SARSEF). First grade won the First Place Grand Award for class science project in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2017, the SARSEF Director's Award for a class science project in 2013, and 3rd place in 2016 for Animal and Plant Sciences.
