Beyond Classroom: Where Learning Comes Alive
At Green Fields, our school traditions are an integral part of what makes our community so unique. With most students staying with us from PreK through 12th grade, we develop deep, personal relationships with both students and their families. This long-term connection fosters a strong sense of belonging and creates a family-like atmosphere where everyone is valued.

One of our most cherished traditions is student-led campus beautification. Students actively participate in shaping the school environment, from creating sculptures to planting trees and designing pathways. These initiatives not only enhance the physical space but also instill a sense of pride and ownership in our students, as they work together to make the campus their own.

We also emphasize close, supportive relationships between all grade levels through peer mentorship. Upper-grade students form meaningful connections with younger students, creating a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood that lasts throughout their time at the school. Through mentoring, after-school tutoring, and care programs, our students grow together, learning to support and encourage one another.

One of the highlights of our senior year tradition is the mountain cabin retreat, where the entire senior class gathers to focus on college applications, bond as a group, and reflect on their journey ahead. This retreat, like many of our traditions, helps foster the tight-knit, warm, and supportive community that defines Green Fields.
