Green Fields Theater
Students are guided to cultivate a deep appreciation for the art of theater, while being supported in uncovering their personal creative voice and artistic method. Green Fields offers a comprehensive range of theater courses that explore all elements of stagecraft, from acting and directing to costume creation, set construction, sound engineering, and lighting design.
Each year, the theater department produces a winter performance. Students take the lead in various independent projects, such as solo performances, original scenes, and festivals that showcase student-directed work.
Throughout rehearsals, students immerse themselves in text analysis, character development, collaborative ensemble work, and the stylistic demands of each piece, ensuring a thorough and enriching theatrical experience.
